Wonderful service and employees. Great orange sherbet it tasted delicious and family friendly atmosphere.

We had this place recommended to us by relatives so when we were in town we figured we had to try it! As soon as we got there, the line was very long and we could tell it was a local favorite. They had sandwiches and things, but we only got ice cream. We tried the blue raspberry slush, the mango ice cream scoop, the fluffernutter sundae, the strawberry shortcake sundae, and the chocolate sundae. The mango was by far the best! The sundaes were fine but maybe a little too much going on with them for our preferences. They seemed a bit under staffed but I think they were doing their best with what they had!

Always a hit after dinner. Place is clean and service is decent during rush hours. 10/10 in my book!

Open for 72 years Pied Piper is your classic old fashioned ice cream stand with all kinds of cones, sundaes, flurries. They even have lunch/dinner food like chili dogs, sloppy joes, and hamburgers. I've been here many times over the years and it's always busy with the parking lot full as well as the many picnic tables. I recently went here with my grandma and we enjoyed cones. I had a chocolate cone (soft serve) with crunch coating. It's the best thing on a hot summer night!

Ice cream and shake came out so quickly! Strawberry short cake was vanilla ice cream layered with strawberries and shortcake and whipped cream, very yummy. Banana shake was delicious. The ice cream shown was a MEDIUM! When it came out that window I was like oh sh*t what have I done. Devoured it. Staff was friendly. Outdoor seating area, window for ordering and then window for picking up. Heard the hot food was amazing too, will be going back soon for sure.

The ice cream here is wonderful, tasty and the portions are large. The savory food however is Amazing, we were visiting from Illinois and I did not expect much (the kids wanted ice cream) the smash burger was excellent cooked hot and fresh Patty's had just the right amount of crispiness, the onion rings were hand breaded and worth the trip alone. Will return when in the area. ,

Wow! Try the Nut Classic; a sundae as old as time itself --that's why it's a classic! Try the footlong dog grilled. I like kraut (good fer digestion) & mustard & onions. Damn....it's legit with a grilled bun too & ample mounds (yes, plural on mound!) of kraut! Fries are hot & delicious. Owners & staff are kind, courteous, & their pride shows in the food they serve. This is a must stop on the way home from Cedar Point if you live in The Land. Easy access from Rt2 and plenty of room to spread out when you get here + a large lawn for letting the kids run around a bit!

Good place for ice cream. It often is a popular hangout in Huron. Pied Piper has been around a long time. Lots of cold treats and greasy hot food. This is good after the beach to cool off. After visiting Nickel Plate Beach we went here. It has an old school look. This has a big window. Order at the front after waiting in line. There of course is lines but it wasn't busy the last time. Even when it was hot. You get lucky here some times. It has a good selection of ice cream. They even have Dole Whip. It's about $3 for a medium cup. They give you a generous amount for it. It always is a highlight when visiting here. So much good stuff to get and there's big portions. They also have artery clogging burgers and hot stuff.

During the times of Covid, trying local ice cream shops has become somewhat of a ritual! While driving through Huron, we decided to give this place a try! The staff here had masks and there were markings on the ground to designate spacing before getting to the walk up window. I got their pineapple dole whip which was very good! If you're in Ohio and missing the Disney version of pineapple dole whip, this is pretty close.
